Publisher's Summary

If you had a unique set of skills and could save your best friend from a fate worse than death, would you?

Lady Olivia Sophia Allen Townsend is not only young and beautiful, but considered by most in her polite social circle to be far too eccentric for her own good. Olivia’s been able to see and speak to spirits since she was very young, but the years of shunning by her peers caused Olivia to turn her back on those who need her the most; the spirits caught between two worlds. That is until the night her best friend Lilly comes to her asking for help. You see, Lilly can’t remember what happened to her, and finds herself in need of Olivia’s unique gifts to help her figure it out.

Coco, Olivia’s younger sister, is also gifted. She can touch someone and know their deepest, darkest secrets, often the very secrets they would prefer to keep hidden.

Together, the sisters set off on a sea voyage, from Ireland to America, intent on solving the mystery of Lilly’s untimely death.

Brody and Quinton Beaumont are fine-looking, eligible southern gentlemen: heirs to a successful cotton empire. They are also twins hiding a terrible secret. Their mother, Annabelle Beaumont died on the same night as their annual winter ball, eight years earlier, yet she continues to rule over their plantation home with an iron fist.

When these two families come together, secrets will be revealed.

Grab some tissues

I just adored this book and the series for that matter. This book was just very sad in a good way. It makes you just want to scream out "just tell him you love him". It is really well written. The narrator was also fabulous. She did a wonderful job of the different voices and accents. I received this book in exchange for an honest review

An interesting conclusion to an interesting series

This book is the third installment in the series and is in keeping with the rest of the books. It is not necessary to read the previous books first but I do think it is more fun to read the series in its entirety and in order.

Olivia and Coco are the daughters of Isabella and Aiden, the protagonists from the previous book. Like their mother, grandmother and great-grandmother before them, they have special abilities. These abilities definitely take the story to the next level as they set sail from Ireland to the US for their adventure.

I like the adventurous nature of this story and the entire series. It is enjoyable and a bit different for other historical romances. Aside from the paranormal elements, there is also the fact that the women in this series are strong, intelligent and independent, which I love. Each book involves travel by sea and a whole lot more.

Overall this story is fun, romantic and adventurous.
