So cute!!

A mix between downtown abbey and bridgerton! The performance is great, but very slow for some reason. Not written as well as Jane Austen to make it a true classic, but an exceptional story

Too farfetched

It is a romance, so there is most likely a happy ending coming. The characters are likeable and good- hearted, even though one is a deceptive thief. The narrator is good, too, But the story is very pat and too unrealistic for the era in which it is set.

Not an everyday love story

I liked this audio book because it was interesting and not the typical love story.

Speed up reading for best experience

Sarah Adams is a new favorite. Every book is great. This was no different. The only tip is to speed up the narration. The reading is super slow. I sped up to 1.1 and maybe could’ve gone to 1.2.

Clean and sweet!

I appreciate authors that write clean romance novels! This book is sweet and you can recommend it to anyone!

It started out really great. it was really long

I really enjoyed the beginning of the book. towards the end I started getting frustrated. it just seemed like it was a really long book.

Enjoyable Story

This is an interesting story. It does not contain any (not one) explicit sex scene. However, it is an interesting love story worthy of a listen, especially when needing a break from the storylines with too many explicit sexual scenes. The narrator's voice sets just the right tone for this story. Recommend.

Unexpected, funny, and clean!

I was surprised by how much I enjoyed this book. The humor in it caught my attention right away. I was laughing out loud throughout the book. There are serious topics but also a sweet kind of humor. I highly recommend this book. I will be searching out more books from this author. The narration was good, but slow. I had to speed it up to 1.4 to be able to enjoy it.
