You can change your name. You can change the world.

But your past always finds a way back.

The Four Horsemen have fought empires, raised nations, and shattered planes. But nothing has tested them like this.

Thrown into a conflict where allies wear familiar faces and enemies know their secrets, Desari, Valter, Petor, and Mya must face what they left behind, their families, unfinished wars, and wounds that never healed.

Old lives are crashing into new loyalties. The lines between who they were and who they’ve become are blurring. And the only way through is together—or not at all.

To survive this, they’ll have to do more than fight.

They’ll have to choose who they really are and what future they wish to create.

Unlike other books, this one summed up all the storylines throughout. Some of it felt slightly rushed and pushed to be finished, others worked out their natural endings. All in all a solid ending!

Solid ending

Enjoyed series, lots of action, some funny parts and a good story overall. Looking forward to the next book.

Really good series

As the ending of the four horsemen’s current story arc it felt rushed. They just jump from crisis to crisis and they finish up four storylines that were built up over 4 books in 12hrs. 6 hrs devoted to Death’s story and 2hrs for famine, conquest and wars individual stories.

This book could have been 6hrs on deaths and 6 on war’s and the next could have given a fair amount to both conquest and famine’s stories. But it seems like the author favorite character was always death and the others just needed to be completed.

Not saying this was not a good listen and the performances were great. But it’s just lacking the same substance for the 3 other characters.

This felt rushed…. But it’s not the end
