Once again this incredible story was narrated by Jonathan Waters…who, once again, does an inspiring job of bringing these characters and this story to life!!!! Absolutely mind-blowing!!! Can’t wait for the final story in the series!!

like the first book, this has a brief slowish start and then speeds up and doesn't stop.
eagerly waiting for another book

Alex & Silhouette Next Story!

Alex try's going back to Cage fighting though this time it just no longer satisfies him after everything he gone through in book 1. At least he has Silhouette to talk with. Now they are approached by a organization called Armed, that want to speak with them. All this end up leading them to Obsidian where most of the story takes place. a lot of Human & Kin interaction, fights, hiding. Again I highly recommend this book. Narrator does a nice job on this story.

Fantastic sequel!

Book 2 is every bit as good as the first one. Action packed and very difficult to pause.

Easy to follow and understand. I recommend this book great writing , excellent narration. Await more novels by this author.

Cage fighter fails to settle down

Poor Alex, our intrepid cage fighter, just wants to settle down and hang out with his gal, Sil, but as is often the case, fate has other plans, and they fall off the world and into a new one. One wrought with danger and, if he's not careful, life-ending.

The book is fast-paced and full of fun little moments in between. For a sophomore in the series, this book does not let up. It shows that the sophomore slump is a myth told to scare young writers. Tons of action, violence, trauma, and running contained herein, so be warned.

John Waters, one of my beloved narrators, absolutely nails this book down like a sledgehammer hitting a ten-penny nail. You can't ask for better.

Great book!

I wasn't ready for this story to end. as with all good books it was a bitter sweet moment when I finished it and there was nothing left after it. The narrator did an amazing job of bringing the characters and story to life and praying their emotions in their voices.
