Notice

I didn’t notice her before... but now I do. The shiny strands of gold in her silky brown hair. Tiny crinkles between her eyebrows when she frowns. Her passion for neatness.

Once I focus on her, I can’t take my eyes from my newest obsession. Ever. I need to know everything about her. Her past. Her present. The way she takes her coffee. Exactly how she smells after a spritz of perfume in the mornings.

She’s perfect in every way, and I was blind. But, God, now do I see.

I notice the organized way she arranges her clothes in her closet. How she visits the same market each Saturday. The sounds of her breathing as I lie beneath her bed in silence.

Violet is mine. She just doesn’t know it yet.

Awful narration

I have read this book before and really enjoyed it, so I thought I would enjoy doing the reread as an audio book. I didn’t get far before I decided to return it, because both narrators are just stiffly reading. No inflection. No emotion. Their tones don’t match what is going on at all, and I think it being a duet narration actually made it more jarring. I think if they had been forced to voice other characters, their reading wouldn’t have been so stiff and lifeless. I couldn’t stand listening to it. If I am going to do a reread, I am much better off just reading the book I purchased than wasting a credit on this. They were actually ruining the story for me.

The book itself is fun. I like more unique characters so the H is pretty amusing to me.

Wow amazing story

I just love the story and the audio is amazing what i really like is you can listen their emotions when they speak , so the voice actor did amazing job gray is deep in love with her even he is stalker but he so dark person he so sweet and gentle man with her he so kind with her and she been through alot of shet and she deserve happy ending and they percet match

Loved the story. I couldn’t stop listening to it when I started it this morning.

It’s was dark and strange in some places because it’s not this kind of situation I am accustomed or familiar with. Once you are able to set that aside and hear the story it’s wonderfully loving and protective. I will listen again and read others by the same author.

I love it when a story has two broken characters and their pieces fit together perfectly. These two were made for each other.
