So Disappointed! **contains a revised review

I thought I would be writing a review being effusive in how much I loved God and Day, until I hit the last several chapters. This is going to sound dramatic, but I really feel like I’m going to cry right now. There was absolutely no reason to start the foursome at the end of book one. I thought surely God wouldn’t be able to go through with it, but I would be wrong. The more I listened the more I started getting a sick feeling in my stomach and honestly felt like someone just kicked me in the gut. I bought the bundle for books 1-5 in this series and I’m trying to make myself finish them because up until the disgusting betrayal of their supposed love for each other I completely loved this couple. The other reviewer said that the foursome continues to be referenced in the series but I guess I will just have to skip over them as I had to do after I read the other review and it stated what happened at their “supposed” anniversary party. Please don’t think I’m a prude, I just get so invested in the books I read and the characters and I don’t understand how you can watch the person you love more than life itself be sexual with someone else. I am so sad right now. I wish I could erase the last chapters from my memory because that’s all I can think about and I can’t get them out of my head.
Ok, so I’m coming back to revise my review. Everything I said above still holds true. However, now that I’ve sort of dealt with my mini breakdown after God and Day’s book, I did finish book 2 and it was wonderful! Syn and Fury were amazing together! Syn’s vulnerability pulled at my heart! I loved that the guys immediately accepted Fury into their group. I still love God and Day so I try and ignore the references to their continuing foursome activities. Again I really don’t see why this aspect had to be put in the storyline. Nevertheless, I really do recommend this series.

it seems kinda silly but for everyone to turn out to be gay it seems a little forced. great stories though

Nail Bitting

I loved these books. I do have to say that I feel a bit ripped off about Steel and Tech's story. Where was the justice for his former partner? Did none of those horrid cops who failed to do their jobs on purpose get punished or caught??

Man, I feel like Steel and Tech's story was not written to completion. All the others, awesome job. love them.

The most addicting stories I've ever listened to.

I started listening to this series because it sounded interesting, and it was in the plus category. I was hooked instantly. Aiden Snow has a voice made for narrating! It's not just how he sounds, it's that he knows how to use inflection. When someone is thinking to themselves vs out loud, you know with him.
The stories are amazing. Strong men, who aren't afraid of showing emotion when it's necessary. The writing is incredible. After these five, I bought all the rest in the series. I saw that the author and narrator had another series, Promises, and I bought those also. I'm now starting the whole series' over.
