So happy that I found this addictive series! I love Eloisa James story’s!! I have already downloaded 5 more of her novels. I would definitely recommend reading this series!

Stella got her Groove!

Eloisa always crafts a great read that keeps us coming back for more and we are here for it with Not That Duke! Stella, the wanna be Wallflower keeps us intrigued as she falls for the Duke of Hunnington. The quirky Specs grows as a character as her love story unfolds. Enjoyed this read and recommend the Wallflower series to all who love a good romance series!

Everything I wanted it to be

This book was my favorite of the series. It was all I hoped it would be.

Not That Duke!

I liked this audiobook. The characters were interesting. I really liked Stella I could relate to her and her insecurities. She has red hair, freckles and wears spectacles. She is also more rounded. The Duke of Huntington,Silvester was a bit clueless. He was infatuated with Lady Yasmin. She is blonde and beautiful. The Duke is also competing with Lord Giles for Yasmin. Stella and Silvester have a a lot in common but he keeps leaving her for the other lady. The narrator is wonderful.

I really liked it, a little confused

So, I really did like this book. However I kept expecting there to be the giant problem listed in the description. As we got closer and closer to the end I kept waiting and waiting… nothing. Anyway! Still a good book.

She learns to stand up for what she wants .

Great premise. A young woman who has been beleaguered about every single thing in her life. She had been trained to be a door mat . But she is of good birth and has a handsome dowry. Her only weapon is she is smart and says what she thinks.
She demonstrates the old rule of thumb that girls can not just be friends with a handsome man with out feeing attraction. This was what happened to her. She loves him but he is enamoured with another girl and swears that woman is the one he wants to marry.
Well he cannot have everything his way.
I like that the author addressed this topic. It is a painful situation that every person faces at one point in their lives. Most times the result does not end as good as it did for the couple in this book.
The narration was well done. Excellent job.

Delightful

Lady Stella is feisty, outspoken, has freckles, wears glasses. Silvester Parnell, Duke of Huntington, was in love with, or at least thought he was in love with, Lady Yasmine.
In fact, both of Stella’s suitors are in love with Yasmine. Even though he is courting Yasmine, Silvester spend time with Stella. They play chess and dance at balls. Yasmine ultimately chooses the earl, Giles. Somewhere in all this, Silvester decides his mother was right all along and that Stella is the perfect duchess for him. Stella is not easily convinced. They do marry, but things do not go smoothly. Silvester really needs to think things through better. This is a delightful story with much humor, two eccentric duchesses, one confused duke, a lovely girl who could use some self-confidence, a steamy romance, and a happy ending. This is the third book and a wonderful addition for the Would-Be Wallflowers series. Susan Duerden’s narration was quite entertaining.

Loved it. Fantasy.
