Jack and Michelle met the night before he was going to start therapy - at his sister's urging - to overcome the guilt and grief he'd felt since his fiancée passed away a year ago. It was the first time he'd been overcome by attraction in all that time. Michelle was trying to heal her own broken heart, having been in unrequited love for years with her brother's best friend.

When Jack showed up at Michelle's office the next day, she immediately took him to a different therapist's office. Her ethics are unparalleled.

It's a busy story - a lot going on, with most chapters in Jack or Michelle's voice. But occasionally Casey gets a chapter, as well as Michelle's brother Davis. I read on Kindle and also listened on Audible, with full cast in quartet (because there are 4 voices LOL)

Spicy, with out being over the top sex club all the time vibe. Two people who are passionately falling in love. Which was great and I loved it.

But he was a bit much—it got repetitive.

The narrators did a great job.
