Not quite forbidden, 100% fun & steamy

Victoria Mei and Tim Paige both get a high grade from me for their narration in this story.

Jones Beckett is a 6' 5" 258 lb wide receiver for the San Francisco football team. Jillian Moore works in the PR department for the team. They've been attracted to one another for a few years, but he had a reputation as a - let's just say 'ladies man - and she thought it would be unprofessional to let the attraction go anywhere.

This season, Jones has been focused on his new agent, new sponsorship opportunities, and especially cleaning up his reputation. Jillian is tasked with accompanying him to photo shoots, one of which requires them to take a short trip to Florida - where Jones finally asks her "What would things be like with you and me if we didn't work together?" and the fire is ignited.

She's logical and focused on doing business and behaving ethically. He's figuring out that there might actually be more to life than football, but only if he can figure out how to keep Jillian for more than a couple of days.

Lauren Blakely has a little tag line on her webpage that says "Cute But Spicy" followed by "Books that Make You Blush"... I didn't blush, but there was a shower scene that was :::chef's kiss::: HOT.

Rated 4.5 but since GR doesn't allow half stars... I didn't round up. I'm trying to be more discerning about 5 star reads. But yeah, this is a good story, hot, enjoyable story.

Lauren Blakely has done another fabulous job. Narration was stellar. The story line was easy to follow. and easy to fall in love with.
