Paranormal fiction

I have always been into paranormal fiction and especially vampire fiction, I am a big fan of this genre and this genre never fails to impress me, this audio book got my attention and five minutes into the book and I was impressed with story premise and the narration, the narrator S. Johnson speaks calmly which made the audio book easy to listen to.

Too bad the story was so abbreviated

The premise was a good one. The execution was choppy. Normally in a romance this short there is hot sex to satisfy the listener looking for just that, BUT there wasn’t any.
The narrator was choppy too with weird pauses. I will say she has a very pleasant voice and does differentiate characters well.
I was given this audio at my request and have left this review voluntarily.
I’ll applaud the attempt! 👏🏻

Loved the the narrator!

The description seems simple enough but the book is written well and 'layered'. It was a pleasant surprise. Loved this book. Kept my interest through the whole book, loved the the narrator!
