New author to me

Fully enjoyed this book. Narration was good and the story was entertaining. I didn’t mind the time travel as it was an interesting way to pull it together.

Wonderful

I thought it was awesome. When they make it a movie there will be tears.

These Tangled Vines

This is my first book by Julianne McLean. I knew nothing about the author, but this was on the new fiction list, and I liked the summary of the story. I enjoy stories that give points of view from differing periods. The narrator was good, but I'm not giving her five stars because she would begin speaking in another character's voice, and it would momentarily take you out of the story. She always corrected herself, but it was distracting. Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed the book and the narrator. Both the story and the overall I gave five stars which is a rarity for me.

These Tangled Vines

Oh, what a tangled web we weave when first we practice to deceive. I thoroughly enjoyed this book. Pulled at the heartstrings for the beauty of true love and for the sacrifice it can demand. And the descriptions of Tuscany were beautiful. How do we get ourselves into such horrible messes? Or perhaps the better question is Why when we are smart enough to know better. And the harm it does to so many other than those immediately involved is so often irreversible.

Well paced. Great narration. Good story about family. I’d recommend to anyone looking for a good tale with a lesson attached.

Loved the performance ! Great storyline ! Really enjoyed this one and highly recommend it for an easy listen. Kept my interest!

Easy listening with happy ending.

The story has easy flow especially when someone loves anything and everything about Tuscany. With authors vivid descriptions it’s like I was there. Love it!!

Loved this audiobook

Being of Italian heritage, I could picture the beautiful Tuscan area. I loved this story and couldn’t stop listening into the wee hours of the night.

Love and Heartbreak-Tangled Lives

I enjoyed listening to this book. How lies can hurt more than facing the truth-good lesson for all of us. I have been to Tuscany so it was easy to imagine what the mansion and the vineyards looked like. How sad the father’s selfishness trapped him (his mind), his wife, Lillian and his daughter. Fear can trap us in so many ways. I loved the ending. Good read!!!

The twists and turns and character development of this story surprised and delighted me. I would highly recommend this read!

Intriguing story!

This unusual story,taking place near Florence, Italy quickly absorbs the reader’s imagination. A beautiful love story begins to blossom. What lies ahead for Anton and Lillian is a rough road.
Without going into too much detail, I’ll just say I really enjoyed this audible. The narration is exceptional, switching back and forth to Italian, man and woman must be very difficult.
