Publisher's summary

It’s autumn in Whiskey Springs, Vermont, and more than the leaves have changed color. Life has never been better for Fallon Foster. Her relationship with the town’s newest citizen, Riley Main, is progressing as Fallon had hoped. Fallon finally believes she may get the family she’s dreamed of. Her business is thriving, and her friendship with her former lover, Andi Maguire, is back on track.

Meanwhile, Andi has been spending time with a local nurse named Billie Steele. The pair have become nearly inseparable, sharing dinners, cocktails, laughs, and long walks. After Andi’s short trip to visit her eldest son at college, she realizes that her feelings for the affable nurse have changed. Each will have to overcome fear and insecurity cultivated by past relationships if they hope to build something together.

The colorful cast of characters that gather at Murphy‘s Law will have plenty of news to share and stories to tell. Babies on the way, proposals to plan, and confessions to make bring both laughter and tears for the familiar faces of Whiskey Springs.

Just when life seems to find its footing, the unthinkable will turn the town upside down. Even in small town New England, can you ever truly know anyone?

Night Cap is the third installment in the Open Tab series by best-selling author JA Armstrong.

Another WOW from J.A. Armstrong!

At the end of the 1st book of the series I hated Andi and I was infuriated that Fallon kept having sex with her. Somehow, by book 3, I'm happy for Andi and glad she found someone to love (that wasn't Fallon). I really enjoyed what I thought would be the last book of the series. the ending is definitely set up for at least another book :) this has been a great soap opera type series. I've really enjoyed the ups and downs. great narration as always.

Vows

Loved it! This masterfully crafted story had me cry over wedding vows and left me curious after a shocking ending. Can hardly wait for the next book.

addicting

if you have read the series before listening you know that it is addictive. Jill brings this series to life in a way I cant honestly put into words. She kills me with the emotion she puts forth and it hits you deep in those feelings, some of us keep locked up tight.

It Takes A Village

Riley and Fallon are making a try at a relationship. Owen loves his Fallon and his two new Grandmas Andi Maguire has become Riley’s “mother” and Owen Grandma. She’s beginning to move on to feelings for Billie, a nurse. Whiskey Springs is growing in population and new relationships. Colorful characters and great romance. Marvelous performance. Recommend Series.

The best of the three books

I didn’t like the end of it but I hope there will be a forth book to clear this end.
I loved Jill smith’s narration, she voiced the different characters well, she has a very soft sexy voice and she annunciates well.
So, when are we going to have book 4?

I love this series!!

I continue to enjoy JA Armstrong and this series! It just keeps getting better and better! I absolutely love all the characters and their depths. I would so visit Whisky Springs if I could! Not only are the primary characters well fleshed out, all the secondary characters are just as interesting. On top of it all, she threw us for a loop! I can wait for the next one... Or at least I hope this isn't the end! Kudos!

Sappy and sexy

It's well written and thoughtful. Seems somewhat like a soap opera or sit com. Casting comment: why is the only black female in the bunch also the 'manipulative bitch' aka least sympathetic character? I'm still hooked though and waiting for next book in series.

Decent and heartwarming

This author has a tendency to leave the readers hanging at the end of novels, which I'm not real fond of, but the writing, overall, is pretty decent and keeps me listening. The narrator is phenomenal, and you can easily tell the difference between all the characters, main or supporting. I don't know how she keeps all the voices straight, lol. The little town used as the main setting for the story is a town filled with a concentration of some of the most emotionally well-balanced people I've ever heard or read about. The author's made me want to live there.

Wow

Ok, so she did it again. The first 30 minutes are, cut and paste, the last 30 minutes of the previous book. So unnecessary.

But wow. This is probably the best of the series so far. J. A. Armstrong is a good writer. Really good. And Jill Smith is phenomenal.

I am going to need a few minutes to just sit with it before I return to my life.

Excellent listen.
