Great

I started out of order, I’ve listened to probably 20 Stone Barrington books and love them. It was nice to hear how he started out.

Review

At first I didn't like this book. Wanted to return it. I gave it a chance. I always do. After two hour of it.I really liked it. If you like these kinds of books. You will be very happy with these books. The performance insist a good ask you think. He grows on you. Try it. You wont be disappointment. I just got the next book. Cheers!

overall good book

It was a good story, however there were a lot of less than smart moments that doesnt shine a good light on Stone. hope hes smarter in future books.

Some romantic sex-Great Mystery and clever Humor

Compelling plot and characters. Kept secrets to last hour or two. Some truly gruesome scenes.

Character Development

Misogynistic males who denigrate women make this book so inappropriate in every way. The book had good plot twists, but the sexual activities were those of depraved individuals.

Up & Down Ride

Author seemed more interested in characters than the story. Also had problems with narator.

love the stone Barrington series, the characters are well rounded. like visiting friends when you pick up one of the books.

Narrator sounds 80 yrs old but main character is supposed to be in 30’s

Narrator voice does not fit age of character…ruined it for me. Best part of book was when he became an investigator. Ending was obvious from the beginning.

loved it was so sure had it figured out missed but a mile can not wait till stone 2

Great story

What a great find. I love this character and storyline and can’t wait to see what adventures await in this series. The narrator did a good job as well.
