Not Best Narrator

Interesting concept. Author brings us briefly into the life of a soon-to-be victim. Narrator however has no distinction between characters. At times, it is difficult to tell who’s speaking. Also, narration can often be monotone

FANTASTICALLY Entertaining!

This was my second novel in the series. Great story - lots of twists and hints- and appealing characters. I’ll be back for more!

Confusing

This story was all over the place. To many characters. It was very hard to finish this book.

Good plot.

A great murder plot. I became entrenched in the story.
All the characters were well developed. I just wanted to know more about the main detective Murrain. It would be good to know more about his intuition was developed.

Character development.

Seemed a bit rushed at the end. The story seemed a bit loose, ambiguous good guy/bad guy/victim, but that might have been the goal. I’ll follow the series, though, and hope for improvement. The writer is promising.

Okay

Actually quite an okay tale. Don’t know about the 1th (okay okay) sense stuff but it seemed to lift the story. However, no podiums no honorable mentions. Come on…”smiles that don’t reach…” aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaarg.

The bad choice of narrator

story was somewhat clunky, but could have been a little better presented by a less mono-tone narrator.

Complicated

There were too many characters, especially with the police department. hard to keep track of who's doing what.

Unusual concept

The esp aspects of the detective were weird but the plot was interesting.
I wish the narrator was better at distinguishing characters.

Lack of getting the IDs of the victims!!!

Basic police procedures and ID procedures!! Sooo frustrating!! What more can I say! Takes too long to get there! Run audio at 170 at least.
