Sob Hickup... whimper

Audiobook Listen Review: Loved the continuation of the series. After the way things left off in book 1 it was awesome to see Rush and Blair get reacquainted again. There was even more angst between them two as the story took a turn into my favorite plot line. I love everything about the characters and don't know what I would do when the series will be over.

The story is now told through 2 POV of view by Blair & Rush which is always nice. Both 'voices' are narrated through Jennifer Bronstein, same narrator from book 1. As much as I think she pulled it off, I really wished it was a male narrator for Rush's parts.

Not for anyone who is afraid of intimacy

Overall, I didn't mind the book. The story line was okay, but the sex scenes leave little to the imagination. I know 'New Adult' books have romantic sex scenes in them, but the ones in this book will definitely make you balk. I could have done without a lot of the stuff that is said. It turned me off from liking them as much when they talked like they did. A little more tact would have been nice. Other than that, I was okay with the book. Everything is kind of dramatic, but with this being a small book you kind of have to get to the point.

Not My Style

I don’t know what to say about this one really.

It was very high on the family drama that then lead to relationship drama which I don’t find fun to listen to.

However the author ended this book in a really good place. The last chapter and the epilogue really wrapped up a lot of the confusion that had been bantered about throughout be first book and this one.

And while there are more books in this series o honestly think she could have called this and the first a duet and left it here.

The narrator did a better job on the male voices in this one compared to the first. She got more comfortable with the flow of the characters.

Loved the story and the narrator. Dislike that it just left me like it did.
