For reasons I can’t fathom, Colby has decided to insert himself in my life. Everywhere I go, there he is. Which makes holding him at a distance nearly impossible. He might be smoking hot but there’s zero point in starting something with this guy. Especially since I can’t be honest about who I am.

Unfortunately, a weekend spent in Vegas changes everything.

Turns out that our friends weren’t the only ones who tied the knot in Sin City.

I can only hope that what they say is true—what happens in Vegas stays there.

Because if it doesn’t…

I’m screwed.

And not in a good way.

Just keeps getting better & better. A solid 5 star read!

OK, I don’t know how Jennifer Sucevic does it. Every story I read becomes my new favorite. I don’t think there’s any way she can make anything better than the creation. I just finished reading. And she surprises me every single time, as every proceeding story is somehow more amazing than the last. granted I’ve been a fan of Jennifer‘s for years and plan to be a fan for many years to come. And her writing style just gets stronger and better and hotter every single story.
I must say, I really didn’t think I was going to like the “baby faced assassin” as he seemed a little douchey in the proceeding books. I should’ve never doubted Jennifer, as she made him the most lovable, sweet, caring, dirty, talking, alpha out there so far! Wolf still gets the award for the most sensitive, Ford for the dirtiest mouth possible, but for a perfect blend? We definitely have Colby.
Then we have Britt. I kind of thought she was a bit cold until we found out her story and why she was the way she was. I don’t want to give too many details, but I do want to say it all made sense once we found out her backstory. These two were fire at the very last few chapters of the last book, and I knew this was going to be a good one as I rubbed my hands together in glee letting out a very evil giggle. I couldn’t wait to start this book when I finished the previous one and I dove in right away and didn’t put it down.
These two were fire, and they grew together and were vulnerable together and didn’t have silly. Third act breaks, but meaningful ones. Their arguments were valid, real, and strong. There was even a spot where I almost cried, and that’s rare for me for a Jennifer Sucevic book. Thankfully, I was actively listening on that part that made me wanna cry. The emotion that Jennifer Blom brings to her narration is chefs kiss! She has a perfect blend of drama, passion, anger, and love. Her male voice is also pretty on point and you can definitely tell the difference when she’s playing what role. And not to be left out, my man, Michael Gallagher rocked it as Colby, of course, as he always does! He also has a very good feminine voice, so you know when he’s playing the other role as well. I love how these two have been doing the series together and they’re almost like a well oiled machine at this point playing off of each other so well that they draw you completely into the story.
All in all, I can’t wait to see what happens with Maverick. It’s about time after him having to deal with his best friend and his sister from book one, I can’t wait to hear his story as he was the caretaker, the protector and the big/little brother. Can’t wait.

Absolutely love this book

There wasn’t anything that I did not dislike about this book. It was such a good book from start to finish.

I knew i had to have this one in my ears!!!

After reading this one I couldn't wait for the audio. This book grabbed me from the start. It was funny, sexy and held my attention the entire book. I absolutely loved that our MMC was not the typical play boy. When he fell he fell hard. Very enjoyable listen. Narrator's did a great job. 5/5 🌟 for me guys!!!
