TRUTH that stands the rest of time

I am at a point in my life where I truly NEEDED to hear this book. I was introduced to the author through a podcast that I listen to about another book he has written. This book was included in the Audible get 2 for one credit so I decided to give it a listen. Boy am I glad I did. He does such a great job of paralleling how Science and the Bible say the very same thing. But also just the great and very obvious steps to changing your life and not ever going back to habits and bad choices that have caused us to be in the predicament we are in the first place. I am going to listen again so I will be able to write down all the great Bible verses and steps to succeeding in never going back. Take a listen. You won’t be disappointed. Even if you aren’t a believer.

Chapters

This was a very good book. I found it frustrating that the listed chapters were not titled and they did not correspond with the chapter the narrator stated.

Where does Never Go Back rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

This has become one of my favorite books by Dr. Cloud. I have been looking for faith-based psychology resources for a while. His writing style is such that keeps the listener engaged. His information is inspired and relevant for today.

What other book might you compare Never Go Back to and why?

Boundaries series. The information and writing styles are similar.

Which character – as performed by Michael Prichard – was your favorite?

Michael Prichard's voice wasn't initially engaging, but as I continued to listen to the book, I focused more on the message than the messenger. What I did appreciate was his reading pace; it caused me to focus on the information in the book.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

This is definitely a book I wanted to listen to in one sitting. I also enjoyed re-listening to sections already covered (I was taking notes...)

I'm thankful that Dr. Cloud went into psychology instead of finance. His writings have been a blessing to my life and countless others.

Full of wisdom giving understanding, Great, simple direction. Just what I needed. It was no accident I found it when I did. Will be sharing it & also will listen to it again! I like how God’s Word is quoted. That is where Truth is.
