Acerca de esta escucha

If you have ever laid awake in bed at night cringing at the thought of something you said 10 years ago, you are well aware of the consequences of poor word choice. Why did I say that? What was I thinking? Does that person still remember what I said? I hope not....

You might feel completely confident speaking on some topics but not others. Has anyone ever made a comment to you that made you freeze up and think, "What am I supposed to say to that?" If so, you have come to the right place!

How do you politely leave a conversation you aren’t enjoying? Would you know what to say if someone unexpectedly asks, “How much money do you make?” What do you do when you enter a store or restaurant and find that there are no prices listed on anything? Do you feel comfortable having a conversation with a friend when they tell you their loved one has just fallen seriously ill? How do you react when someone starts yelling at you?

In this book, you will find out how to address all of these scenarios, and many more, with ease. Welcome to your one-stop-shop for transforming from deer in the headlights into the well-spoken and polished person you have always known you could be. Jump right in! The water’s fine.

The book is well written and the author does a great job narrating her book. This is a unique book and it’s amazing this book exists! There are practical tips on how to become more well spoken and how to handle a wide variety of situations. The author put a lot of thought into the details and provides psychological reasons for people’s behaviors and how to react.

Highly Recommend - You’ll Become More Well Spoken

Such a helpful book. Bookmarked so many parts for go-to phrases. Love the narrator. It felt like a conversation with her. I normally listen to books at 2x speed, but the narration was so perfect and enjoyable that I listened to this at normal speed.

Absolutely helpful and enjoyable

First, I am so glad that the author chose to narrate her own book because I don't think anyone else would've done it justice! Her Southern accent is so appealing and makes the listener feel like they're conversing with a great friend who knows their stuff.

Julie has a way of making you feel excited about conversing with others, which I never though would be possible for an introvert like me. Not only does she give you practical tools that you can implement in any social situation, but she lets you know why it works too, which I absolutely love! Working in higher education for over 10 years, I’ve met many people with degrees in Communications, and none have ever offered conversation techniques as helpful and relevant as Julie has. So glad I found this little gem.

Feels like a conversation with a great friend!
