Story
After dying and being reborn into a world that's built like a video game, Jim has found himself stuck in a very old-world style new-player zone for low-level adventurers. Unfortunately, the zone fell out of use centuries ago, and no one told the monsters they were supposed to take it easy on the Noobs. Even worse, the only new player around is Jim. Jim has been given an opportunity, and he'll do his best to take advantage of it.

All life on Earth has been stolen away by The System. It was transported to another world at the behest of a distant galactic empire that lives in terror of humanity's potential. Ben - just a normal, if not slightly above average guy - had been about to go on the first real vacation of his adult life. But plans changed. Now, he must contend with danger and mystery in a world full of monsters, magic, and treasure. Armed with nothing but his wits and a special item given to him by The System, he embarks on a damn good adventure.

A man. His ex-girlfriend's cat. A sadistic game show unlike anything in the universe: a dungeon crawl where survival depends on killing your prey in the most entertaining way possible. In a flash, every human-erected construction on Earth - from Buckingham Palace to the tiniest of sheds - collapses in a heap, sinking into the ground. The buildings and all the people inside have all been atomized and transformed into the dungeon: an 18-level labyrinth filled with traps, monsters, and loot.

Gabe Skelter has a temper, which he likes to imagine has the effect of causing people to fear and respect him. On the contrary, his pudgy, underdeveloped body and negative personality make him more your standard outcast teenager. Worse still, he kinda knows what a jerkweed he actually is. Then, in the middle of a class trip, Gabe finds himself spirited away to Regaia: a world of magic, mayhem, and nerd-tastic adventure. Naturally, he’s completely ill-prepared. But in this realm, he’s a monstrous, muscular man of action.

Jin Rou wanted to be a cultivator. A man powerful enough to defy the heavens. A master of martial arts. A lord of spiritual power. Unfortunately for him, he died, and now I’m stuck in his body. Arrogant Masters? Heavenly Tribulations? All that violence and bloodshed? Yeah, no thanks. I’m getting out of here. Farm life sounds pretty great. Tilling a field by hand is fun when you’ve got the strength of ten men—though maybe I shouldn’t have fed those Spirit Herbs to my pet rooster.

Accidentally murdered by a cleric in another universe during a botched resurrection, Arnold, a semi-pro gamer, wakes upon an altar to find himself incarnated into the overweight body of a farmer who could have been his fatter twin. He’s not the hero. He’s not the villain. He’s certainly not the chosen one who is there to save the world. He’s a clerical error. It could be a bad joke, but apparently, it happens so often that they have a standard procedure for returning you.

Publisher's Summary
In Jim’s absence, Zorlando has been doing a pretty good job keeping Windfall safe.
He doesn’t know - and may not be equipped for - what is heading straight toward Noobtown, though. Will Jim beat the Pirates while he is on Glorious Roberts’ ship? Will he make it back to his beloved city before Maggie, the assassin, gets there? Why are there pirates attempting to sack Windfall? Most importantly, will Shart ever be the opposite of inside out again?
All these questions may or may not be answered in the sixth book of the best-selling Noobtown LitRPG series.

Arguing all the time, and for hours the same point
7 hours in and I start to scream. The only thing that happened is arguing, talking, exposition and menu time. How should anything happen? The banter was bearable in previous books but now just annoying, because it is just the same. No real development of characters or relationships. Feels just hollow at this point with endless poocultural references. It still needs a story though. It feels like a chore just listening, can't imagine how someone reads through that.

Good but
I love these books but I could not listen to another moment of Julia complain about Jim! There is a point where you have to say, this is to much! If you wants me to hate her, well I did! I even hated you (the writer) for how over-the-top you took it. I had to skip her dialogue because of the constant bitching. Woman, and princesses, don’t sound like that! Never-the-less, it was to much. Please do better. Like I said, I love your work!

The series has come to an a end
Unfortunately, the author has lost the thread and the storyline has gone from a good LITRPG to pure fantasy. While the author makes some references to states and abilities the ending comes across as anything goes and who cares about all the previous work to stay within the context of the story, I'll just make up god like powers to get it over with faster. Obviously, the author has lost interest in the story and is just writing whatever comes to mind now. Mostly, they seem to believe that anything they write is so funny that it will just work, without the effort to put it in context of the stories guidelines. The story is no longer guided by LITRPG rules as it just pays token reference to them now and uses "he Jim'ed it up" or "he's the mayor" to justify everything. All logic has gone and poor humor has replaced it.
The storyline has gone from a plotline to random event happening. Obviously, the author has taken the I'll extend the series forever and threw out any attempt at a plot that would point to an ending. At the same time they have no meaningful character interactions, unless you count Jim lusting over the princesses body while she treats him as a worthless as meaningful (I don't think accepting someone's bad treatment of you, because they have a body you want to have sex with is meaningful, or a good message to be pushing).
The author's humor used to work because they cast it as dopy dad humor within the confines of the story, since the confines of the story have disappeared, the humor falls flat and comes across as anything I say must be humorous, so why aren't you laughing.
I am sorry to see a decent story/author go downhill like this and will not read/listen to any more from this author as their creativity has obviously disappeared with their increase in ego and they have resorted to writing whatever pops into their head and calling it a story instead of working a real plot.

Not as strong
This is my opinion only, so do with that what you will. This contains spoilers for those that haven't read the book. Unfortunately this story has started to go downhill for me. The story has gone from Jim being an OP Hero that people respect, to him just being constantly whined at and beaten by the simplest of people, including his friends. I mean he defeated the dark overlord at the end of book 3 (I think) and by book 6 he's being out done by a merman. I get he's a remort, but I used the fight with the merman because he's back to a decent level.
Now the narration is spot on, as always. Also the comedic value and jokes are also good fun.

Fantastic
This combination of Ryan and Johnathan is fantastic. It feels Jonathan has really got this nailed and brings this book to life. It was a great performance.
This takes nothing away from Ryan who deserves a round of applause. His writing style seems effortlessly entertaining. You sometimes see the punchlines a mile off but you can’t help but grin when they land.
One thing I did prefer on this book was Jim didn’t take himself so seriously and focussed on Mayoring which was nice.
Great book, I desperately needed something to take me out of a rut so I savoured this and tried to elongate
the listening time. Tempted to listen to it straight away again.

Funniest so far
This is the funniest in the series so far. The setup for the jokes in this book that comes from the others is amazing.
Its also a nice progression of the story with new characters and old. Making it feel like the world expands even though its comming back to the beginning in a way.

Loved!
Just truly awesome, as an adult it’s hard to find time to play D&D. This filled that whole in my heart, he even does all the character sheet!!!!!

Lazy writing and cringe pop culture references
If this book was the start of the series I would have stopped reading the first couple chapters, it unfortunately only got worse. This book has disappointingly ruined the series. The author has taken literal story lines from little mermaid, super Mario bros and even references to fan girls. The writing is not the same caliber as his previous novels and the characters seem to have lost their attributes and personalities. Even the narrator has lost his charisma, Shart and Badgerlore do not sound like themselves and the new characters are not likable.
Was so excited for this but would have preferred he did not write anything at all after this chaotic mess.

Another great installment!
I had been taking a break from Audible for about 2 months because I had started listening to podcasts on iHeart Radio, but the release of this book alone brought me back immediately. This is still easily one of my favourite series and, although we're six books in now, it feels like it could go on for at least 10 more and I have absolutely no problem with that!

Brilliantly written
Full of pop culture references and irreverently geek humour, both subtle and obvious, this series improves with each book! Can’t wait to see where it goes next!

Story
