Publisher's Summary

I didn’t mean to stow away on the yacht, I swear.

My first mistake was going home with the jerk at the bar, but in my defense, Prescott said he owned the Worthington - 90 feet of sleek, yachty perfection - and if I could get the chief mate’s job, I’d have an excuse to stay on board and keep avoiding my family and my future.

How was I supposed to know he was the owner’s cheating, gold-digging almost brother-in-law, or that I’d end up stuffed in a closet when the ship left the harbor?

When the real owner finds me and offers me a different job - being his fake boyfriend on a cruise through the British Virgin Islands to tempt Prescott to reveal his cheating ways - that’s when I make my second mistake: I agree.

Turns out, Jonathan Worthington isn’t just a billionaire, he’s funny and generous and a little bit of a control freak. He’s also six feet of sleek, gorgeous silver fox perfection, and suddenly, it’s not just his yacht I’m lusting over.

Worth thinks I’m way too young and flighty for anything more serious than spending the week in his bed...but if you believe we won’t fall in love before the cruise is over, I have a yacht in the Caribbean to sell you.

A sweet, age gap, opposites attract romance!

This is book 8 in The Forever Wilde series and can be read as a standalone.
I absolutely loved this listen! The dialogue is hilarious and fun. Cal and John are absolutely delightful together. This is a sweet, age gap, opposites attract romance. I have been long awaiting Cal's story and this one didn't dissapoint in the least. If you have followed the stories of the Wilde brothers, you will adore this one. Michael Dean did a fabulous audio delivery as always!

Yessssssss! 😍😍

Another Fun Ride 👏👏

Dang! I loved ❤️❤️ the first part of this fake-boyfriends story. It goes something like this:

Sailor gets stuck on a billionaire’s yatch.
Billionaire silver fox asks sailor to help him “catch” his brother’s cheating fiancée.
Fake boyfriending begins on a luxurious cruise in the Mediterranean.
Tension arises.
Other things arise.
Sexy times 🔥🔥
Sailor has to go home.
Billionaire misses sailor.
Plot stuff to get them together again.
Lovey stuff.
Billionaire bottoms.
More love stuff.
The end.

Yes, it’s insta-love. Believable? Welllllllll, it’s a romance. Just go with with!

My rec: Cal, the sailor, is utterly charming. So yes!

Such a Clever Title!

The story is laugh out loud hilarious as it is filled with nautical puns and flirty one liners.

I didn't expect to fall in love with Cal, but Lucy Lennox worked her magic. Cal is a 20-something delight. John, the age-gap older lover is a completely believable character. He is a career driven overachiever who isn't ready for his life to be shaken up by anyone, much less the adorable Cal.

Michael Dean rocks the narration with his impeccable timing and ability to yell, "F**k!"
without it sounding ridiculous. Throughly enjoyed this book.

OMG! I love Cal & Worth!

I absolutely love Cal and Worth! Their story takes place mostly aboard Worth's yacht and as a result the majority of the Wilde clan isn't in this book. I love that Cal talks to them regularly, though. It's apparent he's very much loved and adored even when he's far away. I really enjoy getting to know Worth's siblings as well. This is truly a fun series, and I definitely recommend this book in addition to the entire series!!!

Perfect!!!

Oh my. I loved getting to know Cal and loved him, his Wilde personality and how sweet he is. John is a great match to him and is the ultimate sexy older man. I loved seeing John open up to cal and how they light up with each other. I love all the cameos from the Wilde’s and the ending. Soooo amazing and Michael Dean is so perfect.

Excellent audio and storyline

I loved how quirky this audio is to me. I am landlocked so reading about sailing is a quirk I don't have but I sure loved reading about sailing. The storyline was excellent and fresh!

A Fun Billionaire Romance

Like most of Lucy Lennox's novels, don't be looking for a super realistic plot. Mega billionaire opens his closet to find a super hot cutie, twenty years his junior, wearing his pj's? That's just the beginning of when you'll need to suspend your disbelief in NautiCal. Even with my continual eye rolling, it was still a fun romance, and I did enjoy it.

I absolutely hate to say negative things in reviews, but I have to wonder who is doing Michael Dean's post production proofing? It seems like lately he's been mispronouncing more and more words, and his accents have been a bit tough to listen to. He still rocks the physical romance scenes though, and the warm, friendly vibe that comes through in his characters continues to have me purchasing audiobooks narrated by him.

Lucy Lennox's descriptions of the warm Caribbean waters, the enjoyable experiences diving and sailing, and the fun this group of people have together is wonderfully done. All in all, a very enjoyable way to spend a few hours while I'm stuck in rainy New York.

One of my favorite of the series

One of the best - aside from West’s book. My one and only complaint is that the voice differences weren’t quite as clear. It also is hard when a wide spanning character universe is voiced by the same (incredibly talented) person with a distinctive (awesome) voice.

4.5* rounded up

Amazingly sweet story - I love Cal. He's become one of my favourites in the Wilde family. There's all of the usual romance, misadventure and humour you could expect from a Lucy Lennox book.

The narration isn't quite as good as others in the series. For me this is down to the variety of accents. Michael Dean usually nails it, but I found the Caribbean characters' voices a bit cringy. I'm not really sold on his Irish accent either (Charlie from Hudson's Luck makes a brief cameo appearance, too).

end of a series.....always bittersweet

I just finished listening to this book and I am not sure how I feel.

Did I enjoy the book? yes
Did I feel there was something missing? yes...i loved seeing bits and pieces of the Wildes but this book wasn't as filled as past books with the crazy family.

Overall it was a great book and a way to end the series without feeling that there are stories left to be told. I hope to get a nice little "mixtape" like we did for the Marians

High Seas Hijinks

I was surprised to really enjoy this steamy gay romance as this genre is not usually my 'thing' but a friend suggested it so I thought why not. I am glad that I listened to him.

Worth and Cal are seriously hot together. The way they meet has to be the worst first meeting ever. I loved how their relationship developed with Billionaire Worth starting out so determined not to get involved with the flirty gorgeous young man who literally fell at his feet whilst Cal wants nothing to do with the handsome older rich guy. But love as a way of sneaking up on you when you don't want or expect it and sometimes hijinks on the high seas can last forever.

Lucy manages to balance the sexy scenes with a really sweet getting to know you romance. I thoroughly recommend listening to this book rather than reading it as Michael's narration really brought the book to life for me, Worth checking out even if you aren't into MM romance. A great introduction into this genre.

OK

I enjoyed listening to this book, I am enjoying the series so it was good to catch up with some of the older characters from previous books. This one had good characterisation and there was an interesting and humorous storyline.

Beautiful, funny, sweet

Loved the age-gap and rich-poor tropes. And Michael Dean is amazing as always.

I laughed out loud so many times during this book. I also cried, and squeed, and blushed, and laughed, and laughed, and cried, and laughed.... beautiful, funny and sweet book.
