Vince Carver left the CIA with a dead friend and a close call. So much for so-called intelligence work. smart and realistic spy thriller
I really enjoyed it overall and burned through it in 2 days. my only critique is the quality of the narration. the narrator was mostly good but felt a little flat at times. the audio quality was odd and sounded like it was over compressed or the mic was too hot.
overall it's a great story that felt modern and current. I immediately bought the second book and look forward to the rest of the Vince Carter saga

Needs better reader.
An “ok” storyline but the reader is really boring and speaks in a monotone. Would listen to more by the author but NOT this reader. If author wants this series to succeed get Scott Brick or someone similar.
