Clever crime novel featuring an attorney who goes from prosecution to defense. The lawyer quit prosecution after a gang beating. Spent some time as a corporate lawyer and then was selected as a public defender. He becomes convinced his client is innocent. There IS a hidden witness who he struggles to find. His older brother helps as an investigator.

Great Legal Drama

A must read for anyone who enjoys a compelling legal drama. The plot, courtroom, drama, and character development are intriguing. The ending is both surprising and suspenseful. Highly recommend.
