Good book!

The story and narration were both very captivating, the end kept me guessing, looking forward to more from this author

Fantastic

I kept putting this back in my wish list I finally used my credit for it....so worth it! The narrator was one of the best I’ve heard, story was excellent, characters were multi dimensional. I’m looking forward to many more from this author WITH this narrator!

Good story that goes nowhere

I wanted to like this book. There were so many opportunities for it to be a great read, but it falls flat. It is slow and has a lot of character development that seems to be wasted because it goes nowhere. I felt that it was the first draft of a book for what had a lot of potential-so in a way I blame the editor for not tightening it up. I'd give it another star if this was the first in a trilogy so we can find out what happened to the rest of the stories the author opens up and just leaves there.

Great story. Cant wait for the sequel. The narrator has such a pleasant voice. I hope to hear more books by her!!!!

A Must Read

Excellent. Keeps the story constantly building toward an unexpected twist as it comes to an end. It certainly keeps you wanting more, not to disappoint #2 is ready to continue the thread of Harper's search for her mother's killer. Introduces new characters and a new thriller ready to keep you up all night. Fortunately this book keeps the same awesome narrator.

Can’t wait for this book series to continue!

This book had it all, great narration, wonderful story that kept you hanging to the very end and kept me hooked the entire read/listen. I highly recommend this book, this is what a mystery/thriller should be like. Her main character has just the right amount of spunk and vulnerability. Yay, a new series to listen to!

Good reading/listening

The audio was fine but lacked drama and depth. Hoping for a part 2 edition.

Wow!

I wasn’t sure about this one after I bought it. But I immediately loved the narrator’s voice. So I gave it a chance. So glad I did! I have sat in my car longer than necessary several times to keep listen. I finally had to pull out ear buds to finish it. The story is incredibly well written. Honestly the only thing I wasn’t happy with is the ending. I only hope this means another book is coming out to continue the story.

This kept me on my toes…

I really enjoyed this book more than I thought I would, I actually purchased it because of the narrator and it turned out to be pretty good. Chapter 42 made me cry and the ending……what happened to her mother? Hopefully that will be in another book! As usual, the narrator, Sophie Amos’s, did an amazing job! I will definitely purchase Book 2!

First Time Reader

This is the first Christi Daugherty book I’ve read / listened too. Great characters with depth and life experiences. Great plot line and story. Can’t wait to listen to the next one.
