Starts slow, but becomes great after all.

There is no question about it, Leslie Kohler is a great writer !
The problem for me is that I’m totally not into romantic books and I would have put it down if I have not promised to review the audiobook which I’m glad that I did because after all that romantic stuff the action began and this book got everything in it including detectives, secret society and some cool twists.
Using Annika Connor to narrate the book was an excellent decision, together they created a beautiful audiobook !

Even so that I’m not into erotic books, this one is much much more and I because of this I can,
Fully recommend it for all.

My husband and I listened to this audio together on a road trip. He's super picky and we actually both loved this story. Great writing and a good amount of suspense and mystery. Narration was really well done! We'll be checking out ore by this author and narrator for our next road trip!

Disposable Lives

Maggie suspects her husband of cheating and is on a mission to find the truth. Only the next day he ends up dead. And shes at the top of the suspect list because she has been MIA all day. Now shes dealing with a rich spoiled cop, who acts like a brat. The story will keep you on your toes with twist and turns wondering who is in this scam and who can be trusted. Travellers? Gypsies?

Maggie Leman's life as high society in Newport Beach abruptly changes. She finds evidence that her husband may be having an affair. After confronting him and hearing his side of the story, he is killed before being able to verify it. Maggie becomes the main suspect. The plot thickens and is packed with thrilling twists-and-turns and the unique, colorful characters of the secret society of the Scottish Travellers. I found this an entertaining story.
