Nathaniel Parker, born in 1962, graduated from the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art and went on to join the Royal Shakespeare Company. His television career began in 1988 when he played Flying Officer "Flash" Gordon in the LWT mini-series Piece of Cake. He is also the lead in the BBC series The Inspector Lynley Mysteries, based on the novels by Elizabeth George. Nathaniel Parker has an extensive list of audio books to his credit, ranging from the classics of Charles Dickens and Thomas Hardy to more modern writings and children's books.

The best narrator!

This narrator is the absolute best! His delivery and accents are perfect! Brilliant.

I enjoyed that it all the mysteries are about murder. So, the stories don’t get formulaic. Short, fun stories with engaging characters. The best!

Cozy, concise, comfortable! Very enjoyable without making one too anxious or drawing out the conclusion too much

Fine plotting with engaging characters

Superbly cozy. kit & Harry are a marvelous team reminicent of Mr. & Mrs. North, post WWiI America’s crime solving couple. I even like listening to these tales more than once! Highly recommend!

Well written and entertaining

The Mydworth Mysteries is well written and entertaining. I look forward to the next book.

Short but sweet

A lot of story in a small package, yet nothing is lost. Added bonus in this story is Amelia Earhart.

I like the characters the most

These are an easy, enjoyable read. I like the interaction of the characters. The themes are all different and the setting are interesting period settings.

Well written

I've never been a fan of short stories, but these have been an exception. Since it's a series, we already know the characters so the substance of the mystery begins quickly and I like that. The narrator is quite good although there is some difficulty with female voices.

Fun

These books are just pure, simple, enjoyable, fun with humor, intrigue, and all the wonderful things of a historical mystery

not overwhelmed but still good

vastly enjoyed 1st 3 books despite somewhat dissatisfactory plotting. however, the plots appear on a downward trajectory - book 6 was particularly unconvincing. not sure I'll continue the series

An exciting pleasure!

Fun listen that renewed my interest in Ms Earhart. Thrilled that Harry got another shot in the sky!
