Could it possibly get any worse than having absolutely no magical abilities when you’re a member of the most powerful family of witches ever? It used to be that I’d say no, but then I keep getting set up on dates with Gil Connolly whose hotness is only matched by his ego. Seriously. I can’t stand him. Even if I also can’t stop thinking about him (specifically kissing him) but we’re going to pretend I never told you that part.

Adorable
This was a cute read, I'll read anything with a vampire. I laughed, I cringed, and it helped pass the time as I cleaned and cooked. 100% a romantic comedy, but I take points off for the ending and how lame the vampires are overall 😅

Highly entertaining
This was exactly what I needed- a low stress hilarious story. I thought I was sick of reading vampire books but the cover sold me on this one. It was totally hilarious! I can’t wait to read whatever this author writes next :)

Perfect for Spooky Season
This book was so wonderful to listen to, I really enjoyed the story and all of the questions I had while listening were answered flawlessly. I found myself absolutely enamored by Fredrick’s adorable old-timey personality and Cassie’s bright personality. I think the two of them blended so well with one another. I also thoroughly enjoyed the way that there was a beautiful blend of comedy and seriousness. Overall a very fun story and fun time experiencing it! 🫶🏻

Likeable characters
Although the story was fantasy, as it went along I found myself liking them together and caring about them. Frederic’s considerate and loving nature was so endearing, and Cassie’s attraction to him was never in doubt. Very sweet!

Love it! Prefect for Start of Fall Season
I loved how corny it was. I’m a hallmark, Gilmore girls lover and this was a perfect book to read to get me in the fall season spirit. The little spice they added was great as well. I definitely recommend.

Light, fun, romantic
