Publisher's summary

Grace has a perfect life. Then her husband replaces her with a younger, blonder version.

Three years later, Grace’s sixteen-year-old daughter Tara is stabbed to death in a seedy hotel. Grace’s life stops.

After a harrowing trial, Tara’s boyfriend is convicted of her murder. At least now it’s over—until someone breaks into Grace’s house and ransacks Tara’s belongings.

Now the questions have only just begun. Grace thought she knew her daughter. But Tara had been keeping secrets from her. Very dark secrets.

My Daughter's Secrets is an unputdownable psychological thriller with the most shocking twist you’ll hear this year. It is perfect for fans of Patricia MacDonald, Lisa Jewell, and Liane Moriarty.

Good Interesting Story

This story is typical as it lures you into thinking about logical and most likely conclusions, but no throw all that out the window and sit back and watch the chaos and the wreck wreak its havoc. Grace is an interesting character. I didn’t really like her then found I really did. So many lies and secrets. It’s not fast paced but it’s not too slow. Intensity and mystery are not really high either. I would not categorize this book as a thriller more as a light suspense but it’s intriguing and I wanted to know how it ends.

Narration was really good capturing different character voices, emotions and dialect!
