Publisher's summary

All the hero wanted to do was retire....

The Hero of Humanity—the man summoned to slay the Demon King—he went and destroyed all who wronged him, humans and gods included. At the end of his bloody campaign, he had nothing left. He retired to a humble cottage built from the divine wood of the World Tree that he chopped down.

All was well until one day, the world shook.

The Hero wanted nothing to do with it and went to sleep. The next day, he went outside and saw that his property had been transferred to yet another world.

Once more, he had been summoned, but this time, he refused it. He didn’t care. The Hero was done. He was going to live a slow life in his cottage.

That’s what he wanted to do, but this new world may have other things in mind, such as a certain loud and proud wolf girl.

My Cottage Was Transferred To Another World is a new light-hearted story about a Hero who just wants to be left alone. Here’s what you can expect in this installment:

  • Light Gamelit elements.
  • Retired protagonist.
  • Monster girls.
  • Insert art.
  • And the beginnings of more systems....

Great Slow Paced Isekai

This was a great slow paced story. After all the hell, nightmares and life upheaval the MC has ben through, a quiet life may have been to much to ask for. However it is what he strives for along with the healing he needs. However, nothing is ever simple and peace and a simple life doesn't come without struggles or having to work/fight for it.

Melisandre Vert and Ron d'Vous are narrators I wasn't familiar with until this book, but they are an amazing narrators. Absolutely amazing narration duo and definitely the right choice for this book.

slow life story

Absolutely excellent, this story is great. It reminds me of Battlemage Farmer and Cheat Potion Maker, both books in my favorites list. I'm super glad book 2 is already out so I can continue.

More Sebastian.

Love Sebastian's work. this time is a twist on the summoned hero trope. what happens when the hero serves his purpose.
Ron and Melisandre were a surprise. such excellent voice work and with such range

Great slice of life harem LitRPG

Probably S ranked hero just wanted to retire and be a hermit in the woods.
Looks like the universe has another idea and transports him and his cabin to one of the most inhospitable woods in the universe.
Because he's pretty much indestructible, he makes friends with the local monsters and beats a hot battle junkie wolf woman in a duel he didn't even want to participate in. She then becomes his servant despite the fact that he just wants her to go away.
So he gets warn down by little Miss Hot & Clueless and they start to have a relationship that gets interrupted by another hottie that's undead.
They go on adventures and almost get killed multiple times. Good stuff.
From the tone of this book, I'm willing to bet that it is the first in a series that is based in an already established universe. I'm now looking forward to getting into those books and waiting for book 2 of this series to come out.
Good writing and narration. 5 stars.

A fun start excited for more

I really enjoyed this book. While I wasn't sure how I felt about his other series Guzman did a great job on this one. I enjoyed how the mc acted against those who betrayed him and how he was done with everything after. The new world he finds himself in is interesting and I am looking forward to seeing more of it in the future. All of the side characters are great and I the fmc has a fun personality if a bit simple minded. Melisandre Vert and Ron d'Vous both do great jobs voicing the characters. The only thing I didn't much care for was the music, I felt it was distracting at times and broke the flow of the narrative. Even with that I am still looking forward to the next book in the series.

good book, musical BS in narration annoying

the book itself is good I liked it I read it on Kindle before but the little musical guitar Diddy whatever that seemed to come every few minutes was extremely annoying it wouldn't be so bad if it was just the intro to the book or maybe a huge points in the book but it felt like it came every few minutes if you get this book I recommend you set your skip button to 10 seconds so you can skip each time it comes on to make it barely tolerable.
