Couldn’t get into the story

Admittedly I didn’t finish this book. Story is marginal. Narration did nothing to bring it to life.

Too simplistic. Boring.

Story didn’t have much to offer. I bought because I’ve spent time on Bainbridge Island and thought there would be more description included in the story.
Narrator audibly dropped last few words in a sentence often. Not clear enough.

Like stories se in northwest

The performance was awful. Will try one more in the series with a different reader. story entertaining.

Good story line

Really did not like the narrator! Spoke too fast with wrong inflection points! Would hope someone else would read future books!

Ho Hum!

The narration was plodding. I feel like this was her first gig and she missed pronounced basic words. The story was basic and the writing forced. I’d skip it.

cute story

The story was cute although the end was easily guessed. The narrator was awful, sad to say. It definitely wasn't worth the price paid for a book that's less than 4 hours. I probably won't pick up the rest of the series.

Disappointed

The narrators voice was difficult to listen to. I tried and finally gave up. Sounds like she is reading to children. I did not finish the book.

Find a different narrator. Simple light Mystery.

Find a different narrator. Simple light mystery. Good descriptions of locations and islands. Good descriptions of Artist of Seattle.

Good quick read

Good plot but character being amateur sleuth/caterer not realistic. Just the right length for a quick read

Setting was lovely, story failed to deliver

Reader was a poor choice, distracted me from story. Liked the dog, and setting. not much else.
