Animal cruelty starts the story. Wont read this author again,
Warning: Animal cruelty starts the book, so horrific it almost made me stop right there. I continued on reminding myself it was fiction but the horror ip front had no relevance to the story really. A phrase at the end and the water were the only theme I could wind together . Why was it put in this story? Creepy, not reading another book by this author.

Slowly rolls along
The story is kind of boring at first but it gets you in the end. Not bad, but I fell asleep a couple times listening to this. Narrator is great, it may have been her voice that would put me to sleep, I found it soothing.

Story pulled me in
I quite enjoyed this book. I liked Adele, Decklan and some of the other characters. The narrator did a good job bringing life to the characters. The ending was a bit of a surprise for me. Enjoyed reading this one. Would absolutely recommend this one.

Spellbinding with a twist at the end. held my attention throughout.

It's not really good. Language seems contrived and unnatural. For example, the "writer" often speaks as though every word needs to have literary impact. Unnatural.
