I wonder how this series end,plot twist in the last 30 minutes like woah.

Average with a splash of difference

The author has come up with an interesting story which highlights the beauty and uniqueness of the San Juan Islands of Puget Sound. The characters are likable but the story moves along slowly. The main protagonist is a college student/aspiring reporter whose views and comments on the world are laughably stereotypical reporter. Overall the book is fairly interesting until the very end. Just when I thought the author would end with big real world irony the story turns gag-me-with-a-spoon sappy. Skip the two epilogues.

Enjoyed this book very much!

This is an entertaining story with a surprisingly good ending. Can’t wait to listen to book two in the series.

This story was thought-provoking and entertaining, the characters were good and I got pulled into their story.

The narration was great and easy to follow.

Animal cruelty starts the story. Wont read this author again,

Warning: Animal cruelty starts the book, so horrific it almost made me stop right there. I continued on reminding myself it was fiction but the horror ip front had no relevance to the story really. A phrase at the end and the water were the only theme I could wind together . Why was it put in this story? Creepy, not reading another book by this author.

Slowly rolls along

The story is kind of boring at first but it gets you in the end. Not bad, but I fell asleep a couple times listening to this. Narrator is great, it may have been her voice that would put me to sleep, I found it soothing.

Story pulled me in

I quite enjoyed this book. I liked Adele, Decklan and some of the other characters. The narrator did a good job bringing life to the characters. The ending was a bit of a surprise for me. Enjoyed reading this one. Would absolutely recommend this one.

Spellbinding with a twist at the end. held my attention throughout.

Maria McCann did and excellent job narrating and bringing the characters to life.

Mispronounced place names

Too simple to care about the characters. Plus it’s annoying when narrators mispronounce place names.

If you’re from Western Washington, you’ll be homesick off the bay.

Fun story, could have used a few more characters, i knew who did it pretty quickly.
