Virtual voice distracting

Virtual voice is very distracting While an ok way to pass some time,I did find the fake voice narration pretty regularly annoying, distracting. (Hence 1 star “performance”. There is no performance)The plots are good but there is way too much repetition of story points. Any title that uses fake narration should be included in membership.

Maybe Young Adults

Virtual Voice is creepy and unnatural. I was fine with the mystical aspect of the storyline, but the main characters seem like high school kids rather than adults. I might have enjoyed this book in my teens or twenties - the author shows talent - but as a senior citizen I am bored. My mind keeps wondering; I am on book 2 and just couldn't care less about any of the characters except the cat.

Book series for Teens and Early 20's

I listened to the first 3 books of this series, as well as the next series. This author seems to target a younger audience. as a 58 year old, it was everything I could do to make it through both series of books, although the 2nd series is written a little better. As for the virtual narration, it is horrible for both series. I hope this is not the direction that Audible is going to as a constant in the future. If so, I will cancel my membership.

That narration voice! AARRGGHHHHH

I made it thru the 1st book and part of the 2nd, but cannot stand the virtual voice. I hate to stop because I like the storylines but geez, that voice just drives me nuts.

Total disappointment!

I don’t like to give bad reviews but this book was just so bad all the way around I had to let others know. I tried to return it but couldn’t find how.

Fan

The book is good so far just wish it had 2 different narrators. Just wish Lottie would tell Noah about the ghost.
So on to the next book and the caper’s they will get into and so to see if Lottie and Noah can stay together.
