Rosa Reed attends a charity stock-car race in Santa Bonita and expects to have an exhilarating time shared with family and friends. I love all the Ginger Gold books, and up to this point, I have enjoyed the Rosa Reed spin-off. However, this story was boring. I found I was fast forwarding the tiresome and never-ending chase scene. it just didn't hold my interest. I did enjoy the ending where Larry leaves, and Migel declares his love for Rosa. Gives me hope the next one will live up to the standards I'm used to by Lee Strauss. I also thought it was overpriced. I used a credit instead of paying the full cost.
