Good series

I enjoy this series of books. The. Characters are fully drawn and the mystery has good twists and turns. I recommend.

Enjoying Bell and Tate

I really enjoy the Bell and Tate series. Imogen Church is always brilliant and does each character justice in her narration. I really like the length of these books as well compared to the shorter Redmond and Haze books. it's great to see familiar characters earlier in their journey. I miss this Daniel Haze in the other series. Can't wait for the next book!

good characters and story

V-E-R-Y SLOW moving…BUT nonetheless entertaining and satisfying in its thorough examination of all facts!

As a nurse myself, I’ve been drawn to the mysteries involving Florence Nightingale’s nurses who served during the Crimean War of this era. I also liked the inspector working with one of these nurses to solve his cases. Eager to read the 3rd in the series so pre-ordered… Sucker, I guess!

Great mystery

Second in series and another fine mystery. Enjoy the characters. No disrespect, but I do wish they would change narrators. Book is filled with serious subjects of war and murder and narrator is theatrical and perhaps better suited to something less serious.

Enjoyable story!

The story stayed interesting throughout the entire book with the solution coming only at the end. The development of the lead characters were well developed. It’s easy to see this developing into a series along several fronts.

Thrilling!

Such an exciting story! It is death most gruesome, to be true, but the story keeps you guessing. I love Bell and Tate and can’t wait to see more of them!

Another Satisfying Mystery!

Literally kept me guessing until the last few chapters. The narration is excellent with the array of voices and characters. Looking forward to the next book.

Liked the character of the protagonist. Compassionate and dealing with his own past. Loved the cat character! Narration was very good
