A strange group of people have descended on the small island of West Uist. Camped out in the grounds of the Castle, they are preparing to celebrate the summer solstice.  

Museum curator Finley McNab becomes suspicious of the cult-like group, and when he challenges them it seems his investigations could be deadly....

Inspector Torquil McKinnon is called in to keep an eye on the group.

This is fun. Not a great mystery but a rip roaring
collection of bodies and almost
bodies scattered across this rural
landscape. Why did the M.E.
miss the garrotte mark on one body? Don't know, don't care.
This is that kind of who done it.

Well Developed Scottish Mystery Series

A few editing problems on the recording. Overall a great storyline and David McCallion has a wonderful voice for these Keith Moray books

Excellent series of books! The plots are well thought. The characters are believable. Descriptions of this part of Scotland sound beautiful.
