Good Cozy Mystery

This is another entertaining entry in this series. All the familiar characters are here - Doc Haslett, Sheriff Metzger, and Jessica Fletcher. The plot is good with plenty of twists. I wasn't able to guess the ending ahead of time.

Sandra Burr is a new narrator. This is the second time I've listened to her as narrator in this series. For the first few minutes of the story I was aware of the change in narrator. However, I quickly became involved in the story and wasn't distracted by a different voice telling it.

If you liked to TV series, you will probably enjoy this story. There is no graphic sex or violence, and the language is "family friendly".

Another keeper

I love listening to these, again and again. I play them softly again and again while I sleep. The voice is soothing and there is no screaming to startle me.

wonderfully written and performed!

the author and performer have really captured the essence of the TV show. I can really hear the essence of all the characters that were in the show in the story. Great job! The plot kept me guessing all the way.

Even on the Ice

I like the whole intro to ice skating as a sport that not too many know about. Great subject to put in a story of murder on ice.

Really liked it

What made the experience of listening to Murder, She Wrote: Skating on Thin Ice the most enjoyable?

I could picture what was happening and it seemed like I was watching the story unfold.

Which scene was your favorite?

There were several but I enjoyed when she was skating on the ice.

Any additional comments?

I love Murder She Wrote books. I also loved the original narrator (Cynthia Darlow) which I found her to sound similar to Angela Lansbury but I've gotten used to Sandra Burr now and really like her too.
