not as good as the first book

it was a bit of a struggle to finish the book. I took a few months off and wanted it off my list. the story was a little hard to follow this time. There were too many characters with similar names or similar voices. SPOILER there is more than one Alice and they all had the same voice so it was a bit tricky to figure out who was talking. Overall, it was an okay read, wasn't amazing and wasn't bad. just okay. some good things, I liked the relationship and conversations she had with her grandson. I didn't understand the point of some of the characters but I'm sure we'll understand more in the next book.
