Mount Fitz Roy

De: Scott Sigler

Narrado por: Ray Porter

The sequel to the number one Audible Best Seller Earthcore.

From the number one New York Times best-selling author of the Generations Trilogy comes the second book in the Sun Symbol series, an epic story of lost civilizations, redemption, and immeasurable treasure.

With shades of Tom Clancy, Stephen King, and James Rollins, Mount Fitz Roy continues the tale of Patrick O’Doyle and Bertha Lybrand, who were part of the horror show that occurred far below the mountains of Utah. They learn that the "mother of all motherlodes” discovered there was not unique, that there is another deposit similar to it three miles beneath the towering peak of Cerro Chaltén on the disputed border between Chile and Argentina.

O'Doyle, a middle-aged former member of a disgraced black-ops unit, gets his aging team back together to go after this fortune. Funded by the mining company EarthCore, he, Bertha, and his crew of 40-something operators try to turn back the clock long enough to make them all richer than their wildest dreams.

But three miles below the surface, where geothermal temperatures will cook you alive, something is waiting. Waiting, and guarding. This time, O’Doyle is well-prepared and well-armed - if he survives, he will be set for life, and he will have his revenge for the Utah massacre.

Well worth the what.

I have waited 15 years for this book to be released.

It was worth it.

Now we just have to convince Scott to write a third book in this series.

An awesome sequel to an great book

This sequel to Earth core was fantastic. I couldn't stop listening once I got started. This book lives up to Sigler's writings, but it was not predictable. I thought I knew where the story was going, but it had a few surprises. Ray Porter does a great job with the narration as he has with several other Sigler books. You could pick up this book on its own, but it's really worth it to read/listen to Earthcore first.

One of my top 2 favorite authors.

I’m vacillating between Joshua Gayou and Scott Stigler right now. This sequel is so good and that’s not easy to pull off IMHO. I’ve enjoyed listening to this just as much as Earthcore. My next 5 credits are already spoken for so I can read Mr. Siglers entire catalogue in the order he recommends at the beginning of this book. Infected, Contagion, Ancestor, Nocturnal, Pandemic then Earthcore and Mount Fitz. I’m assuming you’ve read Earthcore if you are reading this review. If you liked that book then don’t hesitate. Go ahead and use that credit. You will not regret it.

good as ever

one more book for a man one more book for the siglerverse.

ray porter is great

content is good

Excellent

This is fantastic sequel to Earthcore and addition to the Siglerverse. The suspense builds steadily through the book and the final battle doesn't disappoint.
