Stars slow but goes to can't put it down
Disclosure, Scott Sigler is one of my favorite authors. No spoilers.
This is the first Aliens story I've read although I've seen all the movies. As I mentioned in the title it starts a little slow but that is because there is a lot of background necessary for the characters and their culture. Once it gets to the main story it is full speed ahead.
Scott's forte is putting real science into his stories, he has a who set of experts who read his drafts for technical plausibility.
It is a very different type of story than any of the movies. The ending is very satisfying, with no cliffhangers. I loved it.

Shut up and take my money
Incredible story couldn’t put it down, if this was made into a movie it would surpass everything made in the last 30 years in the alien universe.

The Best Alien Adventure Ever Written
This is hands down the best Alien story I've ever heard/read. This is a unique and intriguing story from start to finish. The narrator, Bronson Pinchot, is superb and does an excellent job of immersing you in the story. As a longtime Alien fan, I can't recommend this book more! It's great!

Best Alien story since Aliens
As you can tell I really enjoyed this book. I normally don't go through books quickly but this one was so engrossing that you can't stop. it has twists that I never expected and was entertaining from "cover to cover "
Performance was as good as the book. The voices of the characters were different enough to easily identify who was talking.
The ending was surprising and ties things up nicely. Good job to author and performer.

Quite possibly the most original Aliens book ever!
Aliens: Phalanx is an elite effort that is remarkably original and entertaining. The characters stand out and inspire. The story is compelling and well modulated with a few completely unexpected moments that effectively build upon this well mechanized story. Many subtle nods to Alien and Aliens, but no recycling of plot points or use of Alien movie cliches. Such a great book in every way. 5 stars!

Great Tale!
I thought It was well written / read, but felt perhaps for the adolescent set. But Then! BLAM!! This thing(for me) became Sooo Good. I especially enjoy Mr Pinchot as our narrator. I have had the good fortune to experience before.
