A Mother Pucking Good Read!

Oh how I freaking loved this book. I laughed out so many times at the hilarity. Rowan’s innuendo, the way he loved to rile up Shay. Their banter was perfection! These two burned my kindle up with their fiery chemistry. Swati didn’t come to tease (well maybe a little) but when the time came, the spice was sizzling hawt! A dirty talking man will get me every time!

Rowan fell first and hard and was willing to do whatever it took to be in the presence of Shay. This man was tenacious, resourceful and I was all the way here for it. He was also incredibly possessive and yeah it was hot AF.

Knowing how much she sacrificed and buried deep, it made my heart so happy to see Shay find a guy who challenged her to let go, live, laugh and love. I loved watching her let her walls down and live life with a little less fear and regimen. She found true happiness for herself as both Shay the woman and mother.

I loved Kai and Rowan’s bond, it was the sweetest. Every minute of their story had me hooked and I hated the minute it ended.

When I see the names, Teddy Hamilton and Samantha Brentmoor, I know I’m in for a treat. My goodness their narration was everything! Or should I say mother pucking phenomenal!

Shay is a widower, single mom and lives with her three best friends plus their kids. Rowan is a defenseman for a NHL team. They meet when Rowan is injured and ge wants her for his physical therapy. The attraction is immediate but can shay let her guard down to let him in? Will there be a HEA?

I absolutely love this series of books and I LOVE this one, love the age gap, love the love they have for each other and love the narration so much! Samantha and Teddy did a phenomenal job of bringing these characters to life! Can’t wait to continue on in this hilarious and amazing series!!

This is my fave read from the series (so far) there’s one more left. I’ve never read this author before but it will not be my last and you can never go wrong with Teddy Hamilton

Amazing narration & story with humor, heat & heart

Another incredible story in the MomComs series that just continue to deliver on audio! This one was so beautifully written as it has emotional parts that pulled at my heart but also brought the banter, humor with spice that was spicing!!!

📖This story is about Shay, who is physical therapist and a widowed single mom with a 9 year old son named, Kai. She lost her husband to cancer a few years ago and it caused her to worry about everything in life.. One day at a hockey game, a player named Rowan is injured and Beckett, her meddling best friend’s husband makes a call to have her go check him out as the team doctors are busy. Once Rowan sees her he uses his charm on her but she’s got her walls built high. Rowan is up for the challenge of breaking them down as he wants her.

This is book 3 in the series and while it can completely be read as a standalone, I definitely recommend reading them in order as all the stories build upon the previous one!

🎧AUDIO REVIEW:
Another audiobook in this series where I just got completely hooked in and end up binging the whole thing! What a phenomenal DUET narration by Samantha Brentmoor and Teddy Hamilton!!! These two were so well casted for Shay & Rowan and completely made them feel so real!

This is a reverse age gap and Teddy completely captured the vibes of this younger hockey player with the fun and flirty tone of his voice while also adding a caring and dominant tone to it as well. The way he would also change his tone and whisper lines as Rowan was flirting with Shay…it made me swoon even harder!!! Savanah as Shay…OMG, I just loved her! Savannah is a master at bringing out the emotions of an FMC which made her so perfect for Shay who is a widowed single mom. Her voice takes you through the growth of Shay making you feel all the feelings that she goes through.

Overall, Samantha & Teddy delivered on not only the humor of this narration but also the emotional component as well and gave a performance that kept me engaged until the very last minute! Definitely recommend this one on audio!

Samantha's versatility shines through with her remarkable range for diverse characters and an impressive portrayal of male voices. Teddy's mastery lies in his precise emphasis and well-paced delivery, enhancing the comedic elements of the story. I have yet to find anything I didn’t enjoy with these two!

Rowan's total 'golden retriever' energy had me hooked from the start - his pursuit of Shay is as relentless as his on-ice game. I loved how supportive he was in helping her find herself again. Swoon.

While Shay's worrisome nature adds a dash of humor, at times, I wanted to jump into the pages and shake some sense into her. But that's just her character; devoted to family and friends, yet hesitant to dive into love, or really anything again after loss.

The series' charm lies in its ability to deepen character development, like the ever-evolving Beckett, I’ve enjoyed him more and more with each book. Mother Pucker isn't just a romance; it's a journey of self-discovery and growth, wrapped in wit and warmth with a fantastic mom friend group.
