Publisher's Summary

Dominic Thompson becomes an Infernal dungeon core and is given one task: honor the dark goddess by killing adventurers.

Choosing an avatar is merely the first step. To become the greatest, he must make the other dungeon cores submit to him. And that means shattering their jeweled hearts.

Or seducing their avatars.

Lucky for Dom, the dungeon’s avatars are beautiful monster girls. But they’re also the fiercest warriors in the realms, and there’s a fine line between murder and seduction.

Warning: Contains harem elements and mature content.

Unsure the author knows the direction of the story

Very minor spoilers,

As of the end of the book it's not a harem, not a duengon nor a monster core book. There is a premise of all but no commitment. No real dungeon creating to the point not sure the little bit which was created will be a major part of book 2. I have not read book 2 this opinion is from where it ends in book 1. There is a potential of a harem element in upcoming books but nothing approaching one in this one. It's called monster core but the MC is a dungeon core with orders to conquer other dungeons hence my confusion. As a dungeon interaction with the outside should be limited. I will attempt book 2, however I will read it instead of listening. Not sure it's worth the financial investment given after book 1 I'm not sure the direction.

worst sin a book can make... it's boring

it started off pretty good but my good Lord does is it get slow drawn out and down right boring normally I can at least finish a whole book before giving my option but this book is the exception. narrator is pretty good tho I think it's just the material he was given to try to work with.

Now I'll have to wait for the next one

Great book. I had thought it would be a harem, but maybe we will see it come out in the next book 🤔

Breath of fresh air

A nice change from the normal quality of dungeon core books. I think this book did a number of things well...

Firstly a good concept not expanded on as much as would be preferred but does leave it open to the second book quite well e.g some input from lilith or the other members of the pantheon in some way after the intro would improve the book.

The champions are satisfying even though the upgrades were kinda understated and add description of what they could do would be better.

Puck needs more "screen time" he's cool.
I feel like the convo between him and fellow champions would be really intresting.

in short enjoyable but could be quite easily better with a few simply changes.
