When the Sandman comes to Santa's Workshop, the shop Jayne manages, to do his first ever book signing, it's a major event. He's kind of a supernatural celebrity and she needs to keep him happy.

All is well until trouble shows up at the party thrown in his honor. Trouble in the form of Luna Nyx, the Mistress of Nightmares and his creepy counterpart. The Sandman's assistant says Luna is dangerous, and Jayne believes it when her dreams turn dark.

Can Jayne keep the Sandman safe from this gothic goddess? Or will Luna's threats put them both to sleep for good?

Our Favorite Supernatural Super Sleuth Is Back....

….. For another chilling mystery that's giving Jayne nightmares!

While this story is more of the same, fans of the Jayne Frost series will certainly not be disappointment. There's new characters, world building, surprising twist, and a brand new mystery to solve. The best part, we get more interaction with Spider, the most adorable talking cat! Grayson and Cooper are still competing for Jayne's affections, but this takes place in the background and their relationship development is not the focus in this story.

Hollis McCarthy delivers another amazing performance! There's lots of characters in this series, and Hollis does a great job with them all. She makes it easy to recognize and distinguish between the different characters, It's always a pleasure listening to Hollis narrate.

I really enjoyed this latest addition to the series and realize this is not a PNR; however, my romantic at heart self is ready for Jayne to choose either Grayson or Cooper. Kudos Kristen and Hollis for a job well done! Looking forward to the next story in either series.

Entertaining like the previous two stories!

I am enjoying listening to these “Miss Frost” books! Just enjoy them for what the are! My only complaint is that Jayne’s voice is becoming less pleasant to hear. I’m hoping that Ms. Hollis will change Jayne’s voice back the way it was for the first book.

Fun - mixing fantasy with traditional murder cases

Fun to hear all about fantasy characters such as Santa, elves, sandman in an otherwise “normal” world. I just get a bit distracted by readers emphasis on words I wouldn’t. Like almost every sentence that starts with “I”.. minor though when story is enjoyable.

Infuriating

Jane was so annoying this time. She jumped to conclusions, never thought any of the evidence out. She was so tunnel visioned it pmo. No common sense whatsoever
