So not what I thought would happen
I like how Sierra is making that the best of her situation. She is doing her best to work on her power and to get stronger. But Sierra becomes friends with Cooper who want help her and encourages her and doesn't just try to protect her. With his encouragement that is how she starts to get her power under control and gets stronger. Gavin is on his own journey. And with his past in front of him. He has to work on his issues to get his job done. I can't wait to know what happens next.

Everything gets complicated
This book picks up right after book 1. Now that all background/important information has been told this story really picks up!
Sierra is discovering her powers while trying to figure out her new life. Dealing with mean girls, cocky classmates, and boyfriend/friend problems has Sierra on an intense journey. The storyline of this series just keeps getting interesting and the twists keep on coming.
Finishing book 2 has me on the edge of my seat for book 3!

I wasn't sure where this story was going to go next but I'm impressed and happy with book 2 in the series! It was brilliant! I'm still not sure what will happen to Sierra and Lorna next but I can't wait to find out!

Dark Legacy Series
Mirror Sacrifice (Dark Legacy Series, Book Two) is the second book in this paranormal academy adventure. It is a good addition to the storyline. Things get more complicated and more to come in the series.
Winona Owen brings Sierra's character to her own and her intonation is well pronunciation. Smooth and easy listening.

Another intriguing listen!!
I really enjoyed the first one. I liked this one but not as much. I liked the dynamic between Sierra and Gavin and found that lacking in this book. The narrator for me came across whiny and superficial. I did not like voice in the first one but it got on my nerves in this book for some reason. I can’t wait to see where book 3 will take us!
