Had me hooked from the beginning
Credit and investing were the topics I learned the most about. The storytelling in this book makes the financial information so much easier to hear. The stickiness and engagement are really high and hearing books narrated by the actual author are the BEST. This one does not disappoint!

Relatable!
Like Yanely, my family’s also Dominican and rarely any of us had any sense of financial literacy. I’ve had trouble getting through many finance books but this one did it for me, especially because of Yanely’s background. She’s such a powerhouse and I learned so much from this book!

Quick read with lots of strategies
This is a great book for those who grew up in a low income community and/or have had limited financial literacy knowledge passed down to them. I fit both of these descriptors. The book has relatable stories, strategies and knowledge to improve your financial position.

Financial information everyone can understand ! amazing!
I loved this book. I can relate with the author in many ways. I really felt the passion for education In this book and the story was amazing. So informative and really breaks down alot of complicated finance lingo, into simple descriptions. Things that are scary and intimidating about finance is really made easy to understand here in this book. I recommend this book to anyone new to finance or wanting to get started in finance and learn different ways to take advantage or your own personal finance.
