Great Perspective on Life! (or lives..)

The author has a unique and well thought out idea on time travel...more like starting over, but I don't want to give too much away. after the first book in this series I was hooked and absolutely HAD to listen to ALL the rest!! Even if time travel isn't fascinating to you, the story lines and character developments will keep you entranced!

Simply Fantastic Stories

I have passed by the Middle Falls series several times and finally purchased stories 10-12. I LOVED all three of them. Each story is based in Middle Falls, Oregon, with clearly developed characters. In addition to time travel, the genre could also be reincarnation with a unique twist.

All stories had fantastic narrators who were quite skilled with different voices for different characters.

I have since read every story in the series and now consider Shawn Inmon to be among my favorite authors. I happen to love his commentary at the end of each story!

My favorite

By far my most favorite of the middle falls omnibus books! Love the characters and how they are bought to life… time and time again.

Challenge to get into but glad I did

I had listened to other stories by Shawn Inmon in the past and really liked them. The first story in this omnibus was really difficult for me to get into because I disliked the lady so much. When she finally got into the repetition of her lives I started to like her more. The other stories were great and I am glad I listened to them. It is such an interesting concept and makes me imagine this happening to people around me, which is a fun distraction.

A perfect binge

I listened to them all straight though. they made me examine how I was living in the moment. Redemption.

I love this series. I have read up to this book #13. The way each is written makes me feel. like these characters are friends. My imagination is sparked with each book.

great stories but full of liberal propaganda

throughout the entire series there are bits of liberal propaganda, just enough to be irritating. other than that the stories are entertaining and thought provoking.

Another great escape into Middle Falls

You'd think by book 12 I'd be bored of these books by now.....but nope! After each omnibus I think I'll take a break and listen to, or read, something different before the next Middle Falls book....and then I find myself going straight to the next Middle Falls book. That's a testament to how well written and uniquely different each book is from each other.
Again I enjoyed these stories. I did not expect to enjoy Rebecca Wright's as much as I did. I actually, for once didn't so much enjoy Jack Rybicki's story - for me it was the one weak story out of all the rest. And Charles - well Charles was an exercise in endurance! How Mr Inmon managed to patiently relive all Charles' lives to the degree in which he did was masterful. That one really felt like Groundhog Day to me. And knowing that it was the last in series before taking a break, he could so have easily rushed it - but he absolutely did not. Really impressive.
I will try to take a break now and move on to something different, but I can't promise....

A fantastic series of interwoven stories.

I loved every book in this series - they were all interlinked to a greater or lesser extent. looking forward to the next set.

I'm a lover of science fiction, especially time travel, but these books aren't just about the ins and outs of time travel. they are wonderful stories from a rich imagination. Shawn has made me laugh and cry and I am grateful. Thank you for sharing your worlds with us.
