Kojack is a constant in her life that she's grown to crave, but she's smart enough to know that just because she wants something doesn't mean she needs it. Just when it seems that life is easing up off of her a bit and she can breathe again, Rae is faced with more turmoil. In the end, she decides that choosing herself may mean walking away from the very person who saved her in more ways than one.

Loved loved loved this hood love story. Kojack is that crazy handsome hood ni**a you can't help but hate and love at the same time😂 BDE from miles away 🥵🥵🥵🥵🥵 This is my second time listening and it's as good as the first time. I need more stories like this one with the same narrators: Winston James and Tre Taylor/Lauryn Nichols are the best narrator duo in the business 🤴🏽 👸 Make it happen!!!

Couldn’t be me but I did like the way this story was written. I’m glad he didn’t go upside her head or anything like that but…. Both narrators did a great job n really brought the story to life! In my opinion it was definitely worth the credit 👍🏽👏🏽😊

This was my introduction to this author. The book caught my attention because of Winston James. I listen to the preview because I hadn’t heard of the female narrator, but was pleasantly surprised by another fave, Trei Taylor! ♥️I loved the evolution of the MMC!

I related so much to Rae!! This the way I move lol she protected her peace and chose herself setting boundaries. Not putting up with cheating or disrespect. This was interesting to see how the playboi unfolded and fell in love 🥰🤭🙌🏾 The Narrators are my top picks love love me some Winston and Trei 🤤😍
