WHY DID I WAIT SO LONG TO READ THIS!

I can't believe I waiting so long to read this! it was so good. the characters are so engaging and relatable! the story really draws you in! don't hesitate to read this one!

FYI the narrator does talk a little faster than most audio books. however I usually listen to books at 2x speed so it didn't bother me at all.
if there is one thing I would Critique is that his voice for Kal seems a little too old sounding. however his voices are all distinct enough that I was never left wondering who was talking!

love the story

I enjoy the story so far. I find it difficult to listen to as the narrator reads in a way that had me unable to pay attention to the story being read. That could be personal audio processing, but he doesn't pause long enough between sentences, and it all joins together. I will stop the audiobook and continue on through reading the physical book.

I have listened to this book multiple times now and can't wait for the second book to come out this weekend and the second audio book next month!

A great story!

I love the story, although it was a bit confusing at time because it was written partly from a narrators point of view and partly from each characters point of view. Leaving me confused on who’s point of view I was reading through. Other than that it didn’t detract much from the greatness the sort pursues.

Excited for book 2!

Engaging storytelling!

The story is amazing, the trio it follows are easy to relate to and you can really tell a lot of planning went into each of their arcs. Patrick is an amazing voice to be reading and you can tell his excitement while reading the action scenes and keeping you engaged. His performance during the sadder scenes also brought tears to my eyes. For a debut novel, this book hits it out of the park!

came for the water friends stayed for the story

tik tok content is good and all, after all who doesn't want to feed their ex to an axo, but the book is great. A adventure and redemption tale that has a story line that feels unique and kept peeking my interest.

5 Stars All Around

I usually read non-fiction. This story really struck me and I was hooked immediately. Fantastic story telling. The voice actor conveys the characters personalities perfectly, making the narration flow. I am looking forward to the next installment. Perfect for all readers or your gift list.
