Publisher's Summary

You might have heard the popular phrase, “What you see is what you get”. That phrase suggests that our view of the world inhibits our capability to experience it. Some would debate with the fact that an individual who has never experienced love in their lives has a massive deal of difficulty searching, keeping, or supporting an excellent relationship. In the same way, if you have grown up in hopeless poverty, it takes a huge deal of personal change before you could live along with abundance effortlessly.

In a world loaded of concentration, mental models are the strongest argument for implementing a more multidisciplinary methodology. The idea behind the mental model is that wide exposure to an extensive spectrum of the issue allows you to influence the most practical understanding from each, allowing you to make better choices. Once you place yourself at the intersection of numerous disciplines, you establish the power to connect seemingly unconnected dots in a manner, which most are otherwise not capable of exploring.

It has valuable content for us

I have seen mental models as an intriguing subject. I purchased Poor Charlie's Almanac which was the first mental model book. This book is written in an all the more streaming style. A high schooler could most likely listen it, however I have been adjusting it for my more youthful little girl. The material is succinct, brief, and to the point. For what the book offers, it is thick and pressed with incredible information.

Basic tips and techniques

I have found mental models to be a very interesting subject. I bought Poor Charlie's Almanac which was the original mental model book. This book is written in a more flowing fashion. A teen could probably listen it, but I have been adapting it for my younger daughter. The material is concise, brief, and to the point. For what the book offers, it is dense and packed with great knowledge.

A standout ; Great graduation gift

I’m halfway through and am already benefitting from the many mental models that are new to me. I've applied them in work and personal situations and conversations. Pulling together so many mental models from different disciplines was no small feat, and the authors of Super Thinking handled it masterfully. I purchased four copies to give to young adult relatives for graduations and birthdays. Highly recommended.

Amazing! A great starting point

One of the most interesting and fun to follow books that I have read regarding the way our mind can help us (or trick us) in different aspects of life. It provides you a great overview of what mental models are, and how many of them can make your life easier, if applied correctly.

One of the finest books I've ever listen.

Absolutely nails the most useful of mental models and even goes over some of the more known, but less-nuanced models and provides ways one can apply them to their daily life.

Feeling good to listen this book

This is a great book bc its takes some difficult concepts and distills them to their essence. I don't want all the details on each mental model. I want the basics and this book delivers on that. 30 good ones are selected and explained with easy to understand examples. Perfect.

Learning a lot great book

I never praise a book because it is to exchange your thoughts for those of the author. It makes sense to just move on. But this is a valuable addition to thinking... New but conservative ways of understanding. Worth the time. Thanks.
