  • Natural cures for lost libido and medication weight gain
  • Easy, lazy lifestyle changes that can make a huge difference in your mental health

The primary goal of Med Free Bipolar is to show that treating bipolar effectively through natural means is not only possible, but highly likely. The Med Free Method is designed as a fourth treatment option over being medicated, unmedicated, or self-medicated, written by a peer who has been through it and backed by scientifically-proven, field-tested methods.

Currently working as a metal health peer specialist, Aspen's former career as an international investigative journalist ended abruptly in a hospitalization to a padded cell with a drain in the floor. Told she should apply for disability and not have children due to her mental illness, at age 22, Aspen had given up hope life would ever be normal again.

Speaking out now for the first time, she shares how she beat the odds and recovered fully. From food stamps to business woman of the year, Aspen has spent the past 10 years putting her investigative skills to use in this best-selling book. Learn how thousands have recovered, in this step by step guide: Med Free Bipolar.

Basically an Advertising for Multilevel Marketing

There are parts of this book that are worthwhile. The brief description of her history with bipolar was touching and relatable. Some of the ideas in the book may be worth considering, though they're pretty standard recommendations for people into natural health. It's unfortunately clear that she leans too readily into quackery and gives the impression that she lacks the appropriate education to have written this book and to presenting these claims. You kind of go into a book like this expecting exaggerations and misrepresentations of research, but the infomercial component began to wear on me.

This just to say, this book may be interesting and worth listening to many, but take everything in it with a grain of salt. (Pink Himalayan or otherwise.)

The real problem I have with having paid for this book is that it's basically a 7 hour long infomercial for a vitamin product called Empowerplus Q96 or something, which is clearly a multilevel marketing company and which seems to be known for aggressive marketing tactics and misleading marketing, as is typical with these kind of direct sales companies. There should be a disclaimer that the primary purpose of this book seems to be to promote a specific product which the author seems to benefit from selling.

Honestly, All Y’all Haters are Wrong

As my title infers I have seen a lot of people criticize this women’s delivery and background instead of her content. I started on the food diet Aspen Recommended in the book and I am not experiencing any bipolar systems. That means no racing thoughts, no psychotic episodes I usually have, no manic focusing on obsession about everything, no depression, less anxiety, less bipolar symptoms. So what if she’s got a shrilly voice- she has the truth and I believe her. I’m starting on my journey to med free. Honestly let me give similar example. If Jesus came and healed a man and healed millions, but you focused on the fact that his has a shabby beard, or the fact that he had a shrill voice, just like this book, just like this person Aspen, is professional and smart and writes a more intriguing book than stephen r covey.

7hr 31min Informercial

This may be a decent idea but... Maybe with more substance than product placing a vitamin mix.

This book and author is a God Send!

The content and research provided is exactly what the doctor did NOT order. The mental health epidemic in America is seriously broken and more people are suffering. pysh meds DO NOT WORK! My son is severe bipolar I with mania and has landed in state institutions and committed. started him on Q96 and changed his diet. working with doctor to get him off injectable psych meds. to be symptom free would be a miracle. highly recommend you speak to Aspen herself. she is accessible to all who suffer and seek a real solution. I will gift this book and any supplements to anyone who will listen and embrace the med free method.

Thank you for sharing

Thank you for being able to find your courage to write all of this. I'm amazed this is even possible. I started listening to your book looking for more info on lithium orotate and I found so much more. It's scary to know what I've been missing, but some day I'll find the courage to try and finally take the steps to overcome Bipolar for good. For now I'm gonna keep doing as you say- take one step at a time or one change at a time. I've got to order your hard copy of this book. Thanks again.

Good info with mediocre delivery

She is upfront about not being a doctor and that his is more of a biography than a medical advice book. Would be better if it was a different narrator. She constantly pronounces feel as fill and heal as hill. Squirrel points sound like something an academic mom came up with. She talks about two things. Himalayan salts and a pill called q96. But as the book progresses, it sounds more like a sales pitch.

Loved it. So Healthy!

Phenomenal book for anyone looking to improve their mental health. Aspen speaks from personal experience and what works. I will be using many of her suggestions and ordering her brain q96 supplement. Excellent book!
