Amazing 3rd book to an already amazing series!
This book has a perfect blend of real interactions, adorable slice of life, and emotional rollercoasters. The narrators show the emotions perfectly and their voices bring life to all the characters. Impatiently awaiting book four!!

Damned fine arc.
Okay, what to say...
This is indeed LitRPG. Complete with harem, chewey (almost crunchy) game system stuff, and of course, violence and sex.
However, none of that is overdone to the point that it harms the story.
The characters are well made and engaging. Lots of character growth over the first three books and the story develops well.
The theme of recovery and redemption in a world devastated by the ultimate war.
How does a man go from being the most feared killing machine in a world, to a husband, father. teacher, and protector of children.
Not an easy path. come walk it with Eli, The Impaler.

Much more than expected
I went into this book expecting a fun romp in a fantasy romance novel it is much more than that. it's got a really compelling story, well defined characters, and I can't wait to see the fourth book in the series.

When you’re here, you’re family
The third book in this installment took me a mere two days to finish. I would’ve finished it faster, but alas “real world priorities.” Stepping back again into Eli’s world, it feels so special to be amongst his family as it continues to grow and evolve. Book three’s tone is a bit different than the first two, but it matures in a way that I think most will enjoy. I can’t wait for more.

Wonderful continuation
Annabelle and Virgil have a great job continuing the story. Eli's relationship with each of the women in his life is fun especially with the new addition. Brave move in doing what they did with some of the children and how Eli responded to it. Can't wait for book 4
