Fantastic!

I couldn't stop listening to this book! The characters draw you in to their story and the narrator does a fantastic job of bringing them to life. Ever Leath is a strong willed character who will let nothing stop in her way when it comes to doing her job and protecting those she cares about Dare Fitzpatrick is the opposite of what she is looking for, but the two of them together is electric. I had not previously read this series and so it was interesting listening to it as it came to life and I can't wait to listen to the next installment.

well this is a great start to a successful series, so much drama, this poor girl doesn't feel good enough for the her guy. not only that she finds out about herself and doesn't want to believe it. but its getting juicey and I can't wait for the next book to come out.

Great start

I totally adored this new book by this author! Ever is a great character and let me say there is so much to her that I can not wait to listen to the next book. There is just so much to this story that I want to know more of and the narrator did such a wonderful job

Loved this story!

I love this series so much! This was an amazing start to a series about such amazing characters. I loved this narrator too. Ever has a lot to deal with and I don’t blame her for not wanting to be married off by her mother. I did not like Ever’s mother. Ever was such a strong character and will not allow those she cares about to be harmed and she had so much sass to her as well. I enjoyed Dare and Ever’s reactions especially since Dare was the opposite of what Ever was looking for yet these two had so many sparks with each other. I am really excited to see what more there will be.

Wonderful Listen

Loved listening to this book! The narrator was spot on! The story was well written and it catches you and won't let you go. I did not particularly like the mom in this story, trying to marry her off like that. And then the douche kidnaps her. I liked all of the characters and the world they live in, I like that she took on little baby gargoyles and a little girl. That is all I am going to say because I don't want to give too much away. It is worth the read or the listen.

A must series

Loved this series and the characters within it. It’s an absolutely must. Narrator did a fantastic job also on this audiobook.

Great start

What a wonderful first book to a series I’m excited to listen to! Ever is a strong and determined character, and I loved her Sarcastic personality. The author did an incredible job at really showcasing each character’s unique attributes and personalities in a way that was authentic and believable. I loved the world where this was set, and how the reader/listener is instantly thrown into it at full force. I felt like the writing made it so easy to become fully immersed without even realizing. I would absolutely recommend.
